SUMMARY
The Program Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the program, ensuring that performance targets are met and that clinical staff is provided with operational training. The Program Manager reviews and recommends policies and procedure to enhance program efficiency, and uses technical and analytical tools to measure performance and productivity.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:
+ Manages program staff by providing continuous coaching, feedback, and progressive discipline when necessary. Monitors the process for selecting and training professional and support staff.
+ Assigns caseloads, evaluates performance for quality assurance, conducts new employee orientation, and manages staff development and training.
+ Supervises clinical and crisis management and establishes on-call duties.
+ Develops and maintains working relationships with all clients, families, funding sources and regulatory agencies, as appropriate, and monitors their satisfaction with services.
+ Projects revenue and monitors monthly expenses in conjunction with program goals.
+ Promotes and markets programs to funding sources, community agencies, families, and related groups. Ensures a timely response to all requests for information, services, and documentation.
+ Monitors compliance with all regulatory, contractual, corporate, and legal requirements.Ensures that all records are accurate and up to date.
+ Maintains knowledge of clinical standards and ensure compliance in terms of treatment interventions.
+ Serves as liaison with consulting staff (psychiatrist, psychologists, physicians, etc.).
+ Monitors the availability and efficacy of community-based and other supports required by the program.
+ Oversees appropriate interface with billing system and other operating units as necessary to meet company requirements.
+ Performs other related duties and activities as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs and supervises assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job
_The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job._
_Education and Experience:_
+ Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or other related field
+ Five or more years of experience and at least one year of supervisory experience
_Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:_
+ CPR and First Aid
+ Current driver's license, car registration and auto insurance if providing transportation to individuals receiving services
+ Licensure as required by state

_Physical Requirements:_
+ **Medium Work.** Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
