    Responsibilities

    This position is within our Information Technology group, which is located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The internship will interact with Cybersecurity and Technology staff who want to share their experience to assist you in growing your knowledge of both security and technology. Do you want to experience security monitoring, reporting, collaborating with stakeholders, deploying new technologies, performing cybersecurity assessments, researching threats, analyzing logs, and researching and deploying cloud and artificial intelligence solutions? These are just some of the items you could be working on this summer.

     

    This exciting opportunity begins in mid-May and concludes in mid-August.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

     

    What are the qualifications for this wonderful opportunity? We are looking for the following:

     

    + Desire to learn and grow from other’s experiences

    + Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate/graduate student in good academic standing

    + Strong attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

    + High-level knowledge or awareness of different security items such as firewalls, intrusion prevention, vulnerability reporting, patch management and endpoint detection and response

    + And of course, excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Preference is given to applicants enrolled with a concentration related to Information Security, Information Technology or Information Assurance
