JOB SUMMARY:

Training apprentices will assist in the repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of airframes, engine systems, parts, and components\.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

I\. Assist mechanics with a variety of mechanical duties on various aircraft models involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customer\.

II\. Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, and a variety of hand tools to assist mechanics with repairing or modifying systems or assemblies\.

III\. Perform a variety of line service activities for company and customer owned aircraft and general Service Center facilities maintenance\.

IV\. Maintain, watch, and meet aircraft on taxi ramp\.

V\. Tow, park, and secure aircraft at various ramp and hangar locations\.

VI\. Inventory and store personal contents as required\.

VII\. Wash, clean, polish and/or wax exterior; clean and service interior of aircraft\.

VIII\. Defuel and fuel aircraft\.

IX\. Complete fuel usage forms and records\.

X\. Position and operate ground power and other aircraft service units

XI\. Perform general cleaning of ramps and service center facilities

XII\. Maintain assigned service equipment and transportation vehicles

Qualifications \- External****EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

* Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate or a bronze level WorkKeys certification\.

* Must be working towards obtaining an A&P License\.

The pay range should be used as a general guide only\. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations\.

Local Pay Transparency****Textron Aviation Sign\-on Bonus****This role is eligible for a $4,000 \(pre\-tax\) sign\-on bonus\. Terms & conditions apply\. The Company reserves the right to amend or suspend this program at any time\.
