    Job Responsibilities

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for interviewing, onboarding, and facilitating new hire orientations for hourly assembly staff.

    + Responsible for the day-to-day interaction with hourly employees i.e., HR service.

    + Provide support for questions, general policy and procedure guidance to hourly employees.

    + Understands the importance of communicating larger issues to senior HR staff.

    + Reports policy violations, employee concerns, or other serious matters to HR department leadership.

    + Perform HR administrative data entry as directed.

    + Completes data entry in ADP time and attendance system including but not limited to vacation requests, personal time, and other applicable PTO.

    + Run daily timekeeping exception report, ensures all documents and hours updated accordingly i.e., request for time off and/or pay adjustment forms.

    + Track and file all hiring records in compliance with FHP requirements, including, applicants, interview notes and requisitions.

    + Performing monthly analysis of benefit invoices to ensure accuracy for payment.

    + Performs HR clerical duties including the following, maintenance of employee records, updating information in payroll databases, and supporting other HR administrative functions as needed.

    + Responsible for developing positive employee relations.

    + Ensures that company bulletin boards including electronic company bulletin boards have up to date state and federal employment information.

    + Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.

    + Ensures supervision and other members of the interview team follow company FHP for interview and selection of candidates.

    + Ensure that recruiting systems, applicant flow logs and required promotion, transfer and other EEO/FHP records are retained correctly.

    + Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs as necessary.

    + Assist with support of employee benefit programs, answer employee questions, support claim resolution, and maintain related systems as directed.

    + Assist with and/or coordinate employee events including the distribution and documentation of company gifts.

    + Assist as needed to resolve problems and issues related to benefit deductions and pay.

    + Ensures that status change forms are completed for new hires, terminations, and transfers, and special company payments.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    + Experience with ADP payroll specifically time and attendance and the creation of reports.

    + Strong ethics, integrity and qualities that inspire trust and confidence.

    + Must be approachable, friendly, and have the ability to deal with sensitive employee issues with confidentiality.

    + Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all levels of the organization.

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    + Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.

    + Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of the Internet.

    + Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and make deadlines.

    + Ability to prioritize and respond effectively to meet deadlines.

    + Strong detail and organizational skills.

    + Strong problem-solving skills.

    + Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks effectively.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, a plus.

    + 3-5 years of work experience working in a Human Resources role.

    + SPHR certification or Professional Human Resources Certification a plus.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding, follow detailed and uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with basic problems involving a few concrete variables/details in variable situations.
