    The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

     

    Adjunct Therapist for eating disorder inpatient and outpatient services,

     

    Weekend rotation required,

     

    FT 40 hours weekly, day shift

    Responsibilities

    Assess, plan, implement and evaluate therapeutic, educational and diversionary recreation services to restore, remediate and/or rehabilitate effects if illness and disability through the provision of therapy, programs, resources, and support staff,

     

    Work with patients to encourage the development of satisfying recreational interests and skills for participation in departmental recreational programs,

    Qualifications

    A Master's Degree in Human Services Program in one of Art Therapy, Dance Movement Therapy, Drama Therapy, Music Therapy, or Recreation Therapy, master s degree with Psychiatric Rehabilitation Certification, bachelor s degree in music therapy with MT-BC, bachelor s degree in Recreational Therapy with CTRS required,

     

    Knowledge of recreational, leisure and creative therapies required,

     

    Experience working in Psychiatry, Substance Abuse and Geriatrics preferred,

     

    Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills,

     

    Minimum 3 years of Creative Arts Therapies

     

    Supervisory experience preferred,

     

    Acute setting and Behavioral Health experience preferred,

     

    Eating disorder experience, a plus,
