    Position Summary

    The MMC Assembler is responsible for maintaining the production of medical case cart products to meet customer requirements.

     

    What You'll do as a MMC Assembler

     

    + Ability to assemble based on knowledge of the functions of major component parts and sub-assemblies within an assigned area.

    + Use and understand torque wrenches and test equipment, and troubleshoot.

    + Maintain published productivity standards on moderately challenging assemblies by utilizing a traveler, blueprint and standard work.

    + Maintain high quality standards (meet the departments published quality rating).

    + Maintain safe work areas and practice safe work habits.

    + Apply 5S tools to include the T-card system.

     

    The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

    Required:

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    + 1-2 years of warehousing/manufacturing environment or experience.

    Preferred:

    + Prior AS400 experience preferred,

    + Experience with hydraulics and electrical component assemblies preferred.

    Other:

    + Computer Skills to include Microsoft Office, and Shop Floor Control.

    + Knowledge, understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing tools, such as, 5S, Kanban Inventory.

    + Ability to read blueprints, knowledge of schematics.

    + Experience using torque wrenches and test equipment and related troubleshooting.

    + Ability to make decisions and stay quality focused.

    + Ability to understand and follow work instructions, both written and oral.

    + Ability to adapt to conditions as dictated by business requirements.

    + Proven teamwork experience.

    + Ability to work overtime, if required.

    + Knowledge, understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing tools, such as, 5S, Kanban Inventory.

    Pay range for this opportunity is $19.11 - $24.73. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

     

    Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
