Job description
The Product Owner holds a pivotal role, overseeing both product planning and product marketing within Safran Test Cells. This position is accountable for managing the product throughout its entire lifecycle, from conception through end-of-life, by gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining a clear product vision, and collaborating closely with sales, engineering, marketing, and customer support teams. The Product Owner strives to deliver successful products that drive revenue growth and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by aligning cross-functional efforts with defined goals and key performance indicators.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand the product market and relevant regulations and standards
Develop and manage the customer requirements to define the product strategy and roadmap.
Oversee development teams to drive innovation and achievement of the product strategy
Understand and be an expert in the competitive marketplace
Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
Define and execute go-to-market plan, working to ensure that product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful.
Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance to evaluate future improvement investments, life analysis, obsolescence management, etc.
Develop and oversee product end of life strategies and plans to ensure effective transitions for customers.
Collaborate with the Purchasing teams to identify a supply chain strategy for providing the products
Collaborate with Maintenance and Services to develop service offerings to maintain products post-project completion
Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to guide them during design, installation and maintenance phase of a system using the product. That includes
Participate to technical reviews
Be the focal point if there is an issue with the product during factory tests or on site and coordinate the resources in order to solve the issue while having a minimal impact on the project planning/costs
Actively participates in a continuous improvement culture providing recommendations and implementing enhancements to current methods and procedures or to the product itself
Actively participate in the quoting process, design reviews and other internal and external meetings as required. Provide to the quoting process all necessary material, assessment, tech proposal, products description and associated costs.

Salary Range: The salary for this position ranges annually, depending on years of experience and training
Candidate skills & requirements
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, or related discipline).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant industry, with a proven track record of success.
Demonstrated professional experience in product management within an international company, including direct involvement in product lifecycle management, go-to-market strategies, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, engineering, marketing, and customer support teams
Qualifications:
Advanced leadership capabilities, including the ability to balance risk, influence and motivate diverse teams, and take full ownership of product outcomes.
Deep technical, operational, analytical, and project management expertise, with experience driving innovation and achieving strategic product objectives.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, proactively identifying and implementing process improvements.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and functions.
Strong focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and familiarity with product management tools and methodologies.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time, both domestically and internationally, as required to support product and customer needs.
