    SUMMARY

    The Associate Director of Operations will oversee the facilities, security, and recruiting functions of Pinelake Church to ensure that physical spaces are excellently maintained, environments are safe and secure, and the staffing pipeline aligns with Pinelake's growth and mission. The Associate Director of Operations will work closely with the Director of Operations to align operational practices with the church's vision and values leveraging best practices to provide a welcoming and secure environment for all attendees and staff.

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.

    + Assists other staff members, when needed, to support teamwork and contribute to the successful completion of their objectives and strategies.

    + Basic personal responsibilities:

    + Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, meditation and practicing L3.

    + Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).

    + Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.

    + Maintain active participation in community.

    + Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality.

    + Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).

    SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Oversight and Duties:

    + Oversee the day-to-day administration of each operational area of responsibility.

    + Lead, coach, and develop directors in each operational area of responsibility.

    + Ensure systems and structures to support ministry growth and effectiveness are in place, clearly communicated to the Director of Operations, and are functioning properly.

    + Drive continuous improvement and organization health in each of the areas of responsibility.

    + Provide oversight to the budgeting of each area of responsibility and ensure each area is operating within the approved budget.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Facilities Oversight:

    + Ensure all church campuses and any offsite properties are well-maintained, functional, and ready for ministry use.

    + Manage facility projects, renovations, vendor relationships, and capital improvements in conjunction with the Director of Facilities and Expansion.

    + Assist in capital improvement planning, vendor management, and facility related risk mitigation.

    + Handles all property and casualty insurance paperwork, claims, and evaluations.

    Security & Risk Management:

    + Ensures safety and security protocols are in place for all services and day-to-day operations for each campus.

    + Leads the Director of Safety and Security to develop and maintain best practices related to all on site and off site events.

    + Oversees the Our House Promise (OHP) process to ensure background checks, trainings, and paperwork are handled appropriately.

    Recruiting:

    + Works in coordination with the Director of Recruiting to lead recruiting strategies for full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles- including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.

    + Builds and maintains a talent pipeline in alignment with Pinelake culture and ministry excellence.

    + Supports hiring managers in best practices, candidate evaluation, and onboarding workflows.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent (master's is preferred). Must have five to seven years of experience in leading in an operations management type position preferably in the areas of responsibility (Facilities, Security, and Recruiting). Proven leadership experience, preferably in a church, nonprofit, or large organizational environment. Strong project management, budgeting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Supervises exempt and non-exempt personnel.
