    POSITION SUMMARY

    Our team is looking for an energetic and dynamic **Director, International Markets** who will primarily be responsible for managing a team of sales and business development professionals to develop business opportunities with sovereign governments and commercial clients. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about customer service and excels at problem solving. The role requires strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

    KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Lead and manage a global team of sales and business development professionals to achieve international revenue and growth targets.

    + Develop and execute the company’s international market strategy, identifying high-priority regions, customers, and partnerships.

    + Cultivate relationships with foreign government agencies, ministries, and commercial enterprises to generate new business opportunities.

    + Drive development strategies for large, complex international contracts, including government tenders, public-private partnerships, and strategic alliances.

    + Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and diplomatic events to advance brand visibility and market positioning.

    + Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to inform pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies in diverse regions.

    + Establish performance metrics and implement sales enablement tools to optimize team productivity, pipeline visibility, and customer engagement.

    + Advise executive leadership on emerging global trends, risks, and policy developments impacting international business growth.

    + Perform additional job duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education & Experience

    + Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, or related field required and,

    + 3-5 years’ experience in NASA/Axiom flight operations, and

    + 3-5 years’ experience supporting international governments as customers, and

    + 3-5 years’ experience negotiating international government contracts.

    + Track record of delivering outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

    + Uses good judgement, positively impacting difficult challenges

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task. Frequently, this position will be required to travel domestically and/or internationally, at least 50% of the time.

    Requirements

    + Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

    + Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.

    + Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

    + Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet critical project milestones.

    Physical Requirements

    + Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time)

    + May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time)
