    Job Summary

    Responsible for providing support to the Small Business sales team by providing technical expertise and solution design for networking, connectivity, security, and unified communications. This role combines individual contribution and team collaboration to deliver strategic, cost-effective solutions that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.

    Job Description

    Core Responsibilities

    + Contribute individually and collaboratively as part of the Sales Engineering team to support Small Business sales requirements.

    + Perform needs analysis for the company and its customers; collaborate with regional sales executives to discover, design, and develop strategic, cost-effective solutions that address customer needs.

    + Assist in creating professional solution proposals for customer delivery.

    + Attend customer appointments in person or via video conference.

    + Participate in sales team huddles, engineering team meetings, one-on-ones, and coaching sessions to support team goals and drive revenue growth.

    + Provide technical product and process training to sales team members and cross-functional teams to share knowledge and enhance organizational capability.

    + Deliver timely technical support and problem resolution for field service inquiries.

    + Support sales teams with product modifications and engineering expertise for custom projects.

    + Assist representatives and customers in evaluating and selecting appropriate products; recommend solutions to meet customer requirements.

    + Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

    + Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.

    + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Preferred Experience:

    **Networking & Connectivity:** SD-WAN, Internet Services, Fiber, Coax, Ethernet, Switching and Routing, Routing Protocols, IP Addressing, High Availability, Cellular Backup.

    **Unified Communications:** Hosted Voice, Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams, SIP, PRI.

    **Security:** Firewalls, Unified Threat Management (UTM).

    **Tools & Applications:** Microsoft Suite (including Visio).
