Outpatient/Inpatient
Evaluates patient for physical therapy. Designs an appropriate prescription plan for each patient and sets realistic, measurable and functional goals. Implements a plan of care in a courteous and timely manner. Communicates and documents patient care activities, needs and assessments. Supervises LPTAs and P.T. Technicians. Coordinates patient care with other departments and external agencies. Reevaluates patients on a regular basis to ensure effective care and make changes if necessary. Provides teaching and guidance to patients, significant others and staff members. Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area. Demonstrates knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of patients served.
Graduate from either a Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate accredited school of physical therapy.
Must have a Alabama Physical Therapy License.
Must have BLS/CPR with American Heart Association.
