This Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated **Office Engineer** to join our Seattle/Tacoma, WA team supporting federally funded construction projects across Washington, Idaho and Oregon. This role is critical to ensuring effective planning, oversight, and execution of complex, geographically dispersed projects.
This role provides the opportunity to work on impactful projects that support federal infrastructure and land management within a collaborative team environment with strong professional growth opportunities.
Your Impact
+ **Project Controls & Oversight**
+ Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
+ Track progress against established baselines and report variances.
+ Implement earned value management (EVM) and other control methodologies.
+ Risk management, quality and safety plan preparation.
+ **Office Engineering Support**
+ Manage documentation, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
+ Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements.
+ Support field teams with logistical planning and resource allocation.
+ Produce monthly progress payments
+ **Federal Project Management**
+ Ensure adherence to federal funding requirements, reporting standards, and audit readiness.
+ Maintain compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
+ Provide oversight across multiple dispersed project sites.
+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
+ Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelors Degree and a minimum **5+ years of experience** in project controls and office engineering for **federally funded construction projects** .
+ Strong knowledge of federal contracting processes, FAR requirements, and compliance standards.
+ Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
+ Experience with WSDOT audits.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects across large geographic areas.
+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred Qualifications
+ PMP or CCP certification is a plus.

Expected Salary: $103,300 - $150,590
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
