Description:
Position Purpose
In the Adult Behavioral Unit at **Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital** , the Registered Nuse (RN) provides inpatient care for adults experiencing acute or chronic mental health disorders.
What You Will Do:
+ Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and mental health conditions, including withdrawal symptoms and psychiatric stability.
+ Administer medications as prescribed, monitor for side effects, and provide patient education on medication management.
+ Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
+ Graduation from an accredited nursing school
+ Valid RN license in Connecticut
Preferred:
+ Bachelor's degree in Nursing
+ The ideal candidate will have one or more years of Mental Health, Substance use treatment or Behavioral Health acute inpatient setting experience.
+ BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

+ Every Other Weekend/Holiday

Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital’s Behavioral Health Services include a full range of mental health and substance abuse treatment programs for all ages. Common to all of our programs is a dedicated, multidisciplinary team approach to developing an individualized plan of care for each patient.
