    Description:

    We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Healthcare Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of various healthcare equipment, systems, and facilities. Your expertise will contribute towards creating a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff.

     

    This is a full-time position on evening shift.

    What you will do:

    1. Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of healthcare equipment and systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

    2. Perform routine repairs and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or failures in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.

    3. Collaborate with other maintenance staff and healthcare professionals to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

    4. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements.

    5. Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for equipment repairs and maintenance.

    6. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with hazardous materials and equipment.

    7. Stay updated with the latest advancements and industry standards in healthcare maintenance to provide effective and efficient services.

    8. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

    Qualifications:

    1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a relevant field is preferred.

    2. Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic, preferably in a healthcare or similar industry.

    3. Strong knowledge of healthcare equipment, systems, and industry codes and regulations.

    4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.

    5. Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing various mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

    6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

    7. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

    8. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

    9. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.

    10. Flexibility to work on-call or in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
