Description:
MercyOne is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Hospitalist team serving patients at our Cedar Falls and Waterloo campuses. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional inpatient care.
Position Highlights
+ **Schedule:** Flexible shifts with a mix of days/nights; no outpatient responsibilities.
+ **Team Environment** : Work alongside experienced hospitalists and a multidisciplinary care team.
+ **Patient Census** : Manage acute care patients in a supportive setting with specialists available for consults.
+ **Technology:** Utilize EPIC EMR for streamlined documentation and communication.
Responsibilities
+ Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including admissions, rounding, and discharge planning.
+ Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services to ensure quality outcomes.
+ Participate in care coordination and transitions of care.
Qualifications
+ Licensed NP or PA in Iowa (or eligible).
+ Experience in acute care or hospital medicine preferred.
+ Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently within a team-based model.
