Make your mark in Information Technology

The Information Technology team equips our colleagues with the latest tools to complete their work efficiently and with the highest standards of excellence. The team is responsible for shielding the company’s systems from security risks, while designing technology strategies that enable AIG’s businesses to achieve their goals. AIG’s Information Technology functions include enterprise architecture, software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, and technology risk and compliance.

How you will create an impact

We are seeking a Data Engineer with 5 years of experience in building robust data solutions. The candidate will collaborate with various project teams on multiple ongoing activities, including tasks that may extend beyond standard service level agreements.

+ Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and support data needs

+ Perform data analysis, manage ad-hoc data requests, and ensure high-quality data availability to drive data-driven decision making

+ Develop and maintain data pipelines across diverse environments (Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, SSIS, etc.)

+ Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver data solutions for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and business intelligence initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

+ Property & Casualty insurance domain knowledge

+ Proficiency in Snowflake and advanced SQL

+ Experience with Oracle and Python ETL processes

+ Strong data analysis skills

+ Cloud technology experience (AWS preferred)

+ Ability to design, build, and deploy data solutions

+ Passion for working with data and solving complex problems
