Job Descriptions:
Precision, Service, Support — The Heart of Payroll & Benefits at Chapa-De.
Hourly Pay: $30.50-$35.55
Benefit Highlights:
+ Employer-paid Health Insurance (medical, dental and vision): 100% for employee and 80% for dependents.
+ 17 days PTO per year, 11 Paid Holidays, 8+ Sick Days (1 hour for every 30 hours worked)
+ Retirement Plan with 6% match
Duties:
+ Calculate, process and audit payroll and benefit transactions in the HRIS system including changes to salaries, benefits, direct deposits, garnishments, deferred compensation, taxes, and other deductions.
+ Provide day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs, including enrollment, changes and termination.
+ Present on behalf of the Payroll & Benefits team at New Employee Orientation. Prepare presentation materials, as needed.
+ Prepare pay records for posting to the general ledger, reconcile payroll records to the general ledger and prepare payroll journal vouchers.
Required Experience:
Qualifications:
+ Three years in-house payroll administrator experience.
+ One year experience in employee benefits coordination.
+ Experience with UKG Ready or similar HRIS.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Associate’s degree in accounting or finance.
+ CPP certification is highly desirable.
