Our client, a leader in government solutions, is seeking a Sr. Azure Cloud Architect to join their team. As a Sr. Azure Cloud Architect, you will be part of the Cloud Infrastructure team supporting enterprise migration and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a team-first mindset, and humility, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Sr. Azure Cloud Architect

**Location:** Remote, US (prefer EST/CST/MST)

What's the Job?

+ Design and architect secure, scalable Azure cloud solutions for government and enterprise clients.

+ Lead on-premises to Azure migration and modernization projects, ensuring best practices and compliance.

+ Develop and author Terraform modules from scratch, debugging templates to optimize deployment processes.

+ Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

+ Engage with senior leadership to develop strategic cloud adoption frameworks and roadmaps.

What's Needed?

+ Recent, hands-on experience working directly within the Azure portal within the last two years.

+ Strong fundamentals in Azure networking and security, including VNETs, NSGs, private endpoints, peering, firewalls, DNS, and network segmentation.

+ Expert-level proficiency in Terraform, capable of creating and debugging modules from scratch.

+ Experience with on-premises to Azure migration and modernization, utilizing frameworks like Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).

+ Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
