Our client, an industry leader in scientific manufacturing, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the assembly and calibration of complex scientific instruments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Manufacturing Technician
**Location:** Madison, WI
**Pay Range:** $21
Shift: First Shift 7am-3:30pm
What's the Job?
+ Build, test, and calibrate various assemblies of scientific instruments to meet quality standards.
+ Follow detailed work instructions for mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies.
+ Handle materials and verify inventory to ensure smooth production flow.
+ Communicate effectively with team members to foster a positive work environment.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
What's Needed?
+ High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
+ 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or a production environment preferred.
+ Experience with mechanical assembly, hand tools, and soldering is advantageous.
+ Ability to lift occasional 50 pounds, frequent 25 pounds, and constant 10 pounds.
+ Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
