Our client, a leading logistics and delivery organization, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Temporary Driver Helper to join their team. As a Driver Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting company drivers with the delivery of books and equipment to various schools across Long Island and Manhattan. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to a dynamic team environment while gaining valuable experience in the transportation industry.

**Job Title:** Temporary Driver Helper

**Location:** Deer Park, NY

**Pay Range:** $16.50 - $17

**Shift:** Start times at 6:00AM, with end times around 4:00PM, Monday through Friday

**Duration:** 2 weeks

What's the Job?

+ Assist company drivers with loading and unloading products or equipment from the warehouse in Deer Park

+ Support delivery of books and equipment to schools in Long Island and Manhattan

+ Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure timely completion of routes

+ Help ensure safety protocols are followed during loading, unloading, and transit

+ Adapt to varying daily routes and schedules, demonstrating flexibility and reliability

What's Needed?

+ **Ability to lift up to 50-60 pounds regularly**

+ **Steel toe shoes are required for safety; rubber anti-slip shoes are recommended for walking up stairs**

+ **Flexibility to work 15-40 hours per week, with varying start times**

+ Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

+ No prior experience required; training will be provided
