As a **Security Officer - Government Perimeter Unarmed Full-Time** in **Brooklyn, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.

+ Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the location.

+ Support Allied Universal in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and/or security-related concerns.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while on duty.

+ Document and report security-related incidents and/or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

+ Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack are preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
