As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your strong presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access points to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.

+ Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed while following site-specific policies and procedures.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or breaches of protocol in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as needed, supporting the overall security-related operations of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
