• Shipping & Receiving Associate

    Adecco is hiring immediately for a Shipping & Receiving Associate with a local client in Cary, NC! Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

     

    + Contract Type: Temp

    + Pay: $19.00 per hour

    + Shift/Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour rotational schedule.

    Essential Duties:

    + Inspect incoming freight/packages for defects or damage and record discrepancies accurately.

    + Verify details of incoming materials and communicate issues to supervision.

    + Tag, stage, and palletize materials upon receipt.

    + Prepare shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Packing List) and utilize systems like UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager.

    + Load and unload trucks and handle materials within the receiving department.

    + Conduct physical inventories and reconcile stock discrepancies.

    + Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities.

    At a minimum, you’ll need:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.

    + Ability to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally and stand for long periods of time.

    + Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, MIS).
