Trim Manager

Adecco Creative is partnering with one of NYC’s luxury fashion brands to recruit for a Trim Manager. This position will be a contract role, with a hybrid schedule. The need is immediate so those able to immediately start in Midtown Manhattan are encouraged to apply.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in trims development to:
Sourcing and Selection:
+ Meet with Trim vendors for new inspiration and research to show back to design teams.
+ Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to evaluate and select the most suitable trims for each product line.
Development:
+ Manage the trim development process for all Outlet Men’s & Women’s and Soft Accessories from initial concept through bulk production.
+ Work closely with the design and product development teams to understand trim requirements seasonally.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of trim development, including sample approvals, production orders, and delivery.
+ Create and maintain trim CM#s in system.
+ Manage Trim budget and submit monthly report.
Boards and Tracking:
+ Create and maintain Seasonal trim Boards/Binders and seasonal SMS Trim chart with tracking.
+ Ensure accurate documentation of trim specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines for each season.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure key dates and target prices are met for trims.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
+ Review trim approvals with design teams and maintain standards in trim library.
+ Establish and maintain quality standards for trims, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements, durability, and performance expectations.
+ Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of trims to assess their suitability for various garment applications and care instructions.
Supplier Management:
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with trims suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and lead times.
+ Regularly evaluate supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, delivery, and ethical standards.
Research and Innovation:
+ Stay updated with the latest trims trends, materials, technologies, and sustainable practices.
The accomplished individual will possess:
+ Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft 360, Outlook, PowerPoint, EcVision
+ Strong Organizational, written, and verbal communication
+ Demonstrated strong sense of teamwork and ability to multi-task
An outstanding professional will have:
+ 4-5 years’ experience
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in relevant field
+ Flexibility to adapt to the business required and to perform efficiently and effectively in fast-paced environment
+ Attention to detail including strong problem-solving ability and follow up skills
+ Able to maintain and manage agile timelines and deadlines
+ Experience working with a global company and oversee partners
**Pay Details:** $43.00 per hour
