    Therapy Coordinator- Inpatient Rehab

    Monday - Friday

     

    Hourly rate: $18 - $26

     

    Compensation depends upon candidate’s years of experience and internal equity.

    Responsibilities

    We are seeking a dedicated Therapy Coordinator to support our therapy department in arranging Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for patients transitioning from hospital care to a home setting. We are looknig for someone that isproficient with basic computer applications, has strong interpersonal and communication skills, and is highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

     

    They will coordinate and process DME orders for discharged patients. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals via in-person, email, and phone interactions.Utilize basic computer skills to manage documentation and order tracking.Maintain excellent time management and organizational practices to ensure timely delivery of equipment.

    Qualifications

    + High School Graduate or equivalent required.

    + 3 years Administrative Assistant experience or similar role required. Previous hospital experience with knowledge of therapy and rehab in general preferred.

    + Proficient skills with computers, software and office equipment required.
