Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems and components with a focus on magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors. You will perform detailed calculations, establish standards and specifications, and use computer-assisted engineering and design software for various tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Design and develop electrical systems and components, focusing on magnetic components.

+ Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.

+ Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.

+ Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.

+ Perform detailed analyses to assess the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.

+ Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.

+ Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.

+ Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operations and make recommendations to the maintenance crew.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector.

+ Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.

+ Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software.

+ Experience in electrical design, especially from scratch with custom designs per client specifications.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Trenton, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
