Job Title: Site Superintendent
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to lead crews and manage equipment for all phases of mobilization, operations, and demobilization on project sites. This is a rotation-based position, offering a dynamic and rewarding work environment with opportunities to travel to various project locations.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure dredges, crews, and sites follow best safety practices.
+ Relay executive safety messages and discuss with crews.
+ Review and act on all crew safety concerns.
+ Plan all work and logistical functions safely to avoid damages to pipeline and infrastructure.
+ Understand and enforce union contract obligations.
+ Oversee BOLs and shipping arrangements for equipment on site.
+ Manage crew schedules with the assistance of deck managers.
+ Coordinate logistics for ancillary equipment on site.
+ Review and approve crew payroll and travel.
+ Maintain on-site inventory and assure correct pipeline allotment.
+ Perform on-site maintenance and communicate deficiencies for off-site maintenance.
+ Accurately track and place all subline installed and recovered on site.
+ Scout out yard facilities, access points, and site features when arriving on site.
+ Ensure adequate heavy lift areas, crew boat landing, and crew parking are secured.
+ Complete and distribute daily mobilization/demobilization brief.
+ Complete and QC all trucking and tow plans.
+ Oversee demobilization and ensure final clean-up and walk-through of all facilities.
+ Execute projects in accordance with cost and production estimates.
+ Arrange required training for crew.
+ Verify that site teams have required tools and equipment for project execution.
+ Approve or reject NSE requests in a timely manner.
+ Manage fuel for all plant on site.
+ Schedule and manage 3rd party vessel on/off hire and all tug evolutions.
+ Enforce company policy and procedure with the crew.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in dredging or marine construction.
+ Experience in construction management and supervisory skills.
+ Waterside crane operations experience.
+ Proven ability to lead and schedule hourly crews.
+ Expertise in marine logistics, handling pipelines, tow plans, and site mobilization/demobilization.
+ Experience in scheduling and managing tug evolutions and vessel logistics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ No additional certifications required beyond core skills.
+ Rotation schedule: 14 days on / 7 days off.
+ Flexibility for longer rotations if desired.
+ Willingness to travel to multiple project locations; per diem, lodging, car rental, and mobilization/demobilization provided.

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49.00 - $54.00/hr.
