Position: Environmental Project Coordinator
Schedule: Full-time | Onsite
Key Focus Areas
+ Field Investigations: Groundwater and soil sampling, drilling oversight, Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments (≈80% field-based).
+ Project Coordination: Scoping jobs, building budgets, managing vendors, and supporting up to 20 active projects.
+ Client Interaction: Proposal support, updates, and relationship management.
+ Technical Execution: Data interpretation, remediation strategies, and technical deliverables.
Daily Responsibilities
+ Lead field investigations and sampling activities.
+ Coordinate subcontractors and vendors for drilling/remediation tasks.
+ Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, and technical reports.
+ Support senior PMs with timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
+ Participate in client meetings and proposal development.
+ Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and QA/QC standards.
Impact & Growth
+ Scope: Projects include oil companies, municipalities, military installations, housing developers, and private sector clients.
+ Impact: Deliver projects on time and within budget to maintain client satisfaction and win new business.
+ Growth: Clear path to senior PM roles with exposure to litigation support, remediation design, and business development.
Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field.
+ Experience: 4–6 years in environmental consulting, including 1+ year in project coordination or junior PM role.
+ Strong field investigation background (80% field-based).
Preferred Skills
+ Technical writing (Phase I/II reports, remedial action plans).
+ Advanced degree (MS) or certifications (PG, PE, QISP, GIT).
+ Business development mindset and client sector familiarity.
+ Bonus: Human health risk assessment experience.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orange, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $180000.00/hr.
