    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will document physician visits using the EMR system, assist with medical instruments when requested by physicians, perform patient work-ups post-consultation, and effectively communicate procedures and treatments to patients.

    Responsibilities

    + Document physician visits in the EMR system.

    + Assist with medical instruments as needed by physicians.

    + Conduct work-ups after doctor visits with patients.

    + Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and treatments.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in medical assisting and patient care.

    + Proficiency in medical terminology and EMR systems.

    + Knowledge of ophthalmology and nextgen systems.

    + Certified Medical Assistant qualification.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a life science.

    + Ophthalmic experience preferred.

    + Bilingual skills (nice to have).

    + Ability to multitask and manage high patient volumes.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
