    Job Title: Analysis Engineer IIJob Description

     

    The Analysis Engineer II is responsible for leading and performing static and dynamic stress analysis on various products developed by the engineering team. The role involves developing and reviewing reports that detail the failure modes of products and recommending design solutions to reduce the risk of failure during qualification testing and product deployment. The engineer will utilize analysis programs such as Abaqus, Optistruct, Hypermesh, and LS-DYNA and develop supplemental analysis tools as required. Additionally, the engineer will assist in managing workload and identify the type of analysis needed to meet customer requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform static and dynamic stress analysis on various products.

    + Develop and review reports detailing failure modes and recommend design solutions.

    + Utilize analysis programs like Abaqus, Optistruct, Hypermesh, LS-DYNA.

    + Develop supplemental analysis tools as required.

    + Assist in managing workload and identify types of analysis to meet customer requirements.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in Aerospace, Military, or motor vehicle industries performing static and dynamic stress analysis in a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) solver.

    + Proficiency in SolidWorks for solid 3D modeling or similar CAD packages (NX, Catia, Creo).

    + Experience with analysis programs such as LS-DYNA and NASTRAN for structural, shock, and vibration in dynamic environments.

    + US Citizenship required.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.

    + Experience with DoD product development related to ground combat, marine, and aircraft platforms.

    + Experience with metallics, composites, and ceramics material analysis.

    + Experience using SolidWorks.

    + Knowledge of EPIC high strain rate for ballistic modeling.

    + Familiarity with Mil Std 810 and FMVSS typical for motor vehicles.

    Work Environment

    The role is based at a manufacturing and design facility in Arizona, where testing is also conducted. The position requires working onsite during day shifts. The dress code is business casual, with occasional business professional attire required for customer or government meetings.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Chandler, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
