What You’ll Do

+ Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor tasks.

+ Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications.

+ Support Sr/Chief Estimators in creating preliminary budgets and detailed estimates.

+ Analyze historical data and market trends to ensure competitive pricing.

+ Review drawings and technical specifications to understand project scope.

+ Solicit and evaluate bids from vendors and subcontractors.

+ Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and revisions.

+ Collaborate with operations and estimating teams to align on project goals.

What We’re Looking For

+ Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.

+ Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

+ Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating software is a plus.

+ A team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Poughkeepsie, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
