Job Title: CADD Technician
Job Description
+ Join our team as a CADD Technician, working within a specific discipline under the direct supervision of an Architect, Engineer, or other technical professional.
+ You will be responsible for generating and maintaining BIM elements based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project scope.
+ Your role will involve creating and maintaining the discipline model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output, while collaborating closely with architects and engineers.
Responsibilities
+ Generate BIM elements in alignment with the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project scope.
+ Create and maintain the discipline model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output.
+ Work under the guidance of architects or engineers while being technically competent with the discipline and software used.
+ Accurately model BIM elements using current 3D software, adhering to spatial constraints.
+ Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams within the project scope, schedule, and budget.
+ Maintain the discipline model, including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, and scope boundaries.
+ Produce discipline-specific documentation with accurate annotations.
+ Monitor, improve, and maintain company standards and model health.
+ Coordinate design with other discipline models through Design Reviews and the 3D Coordination process.
+ Assist or execute additional Digital Delivery requirements identified on the project.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D.
+ Experience in power delivery, including Transmission, Distribution, or Power Delivery.
+ Preferred experience with MicroStation.
+ Technical degree or 1-3 years of power delivery experience.
+ Competency with 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
+ Experience with 3D Coordination tools.
+ Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
Work Environment
+ This position offers flexibility with the option to work in Portland, Maine, or Bedford, New Hampshire, and the potential for completely remote work if you possess sufficient experience with MicroStation, Revit, and CAD in Power.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, ME.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr.
