    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent of Construction with a strong history in managing large-scale healthcare construction projects. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in a supervisory role, overseeing projects with budgets of 50 million and upwards. The role requires expertise in ground-up construction and proficiency in P6 software.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop a project logistics plan, including hoisting and general conditions items.

    + Create detailed project schedules.

    + Identify and address poorly developed project details, particularly related to the building envelope, and recommend improvements to architects.

    + Lead and manage subordinate Superintendents.

    + Confidently speak to large groups and participate in prospective project interviews.

    + Train project staff in all field activities.

    + Lead and influence the project team effectively.

    + Understand and utilize information from Revit models for organizing BIM coordination.

    + Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, owners, architects, and consultants.

    + Participate in Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings.

    + Collaborate with Project Management to resolve budget or schedule variances.

    Essential Skills

    + 10+ years of experience managing healthcare construction projects in a supervisory role.

    + Experience overseeing subcontractors.

    + Experience managing projects with budgets of 50 million and upwards.

    + Expertise in ground-up construction.

    + Proficiency in P6 software.

    Work Environment

    The position will be based onsite in a trailer located in Downingtown. The project involves an 80 million dollar medical fit-out with an extensive site package. The schedule is aggressive, with projections for overtime and second shift work. The project is fast-tracked with a 16-month construction schedule. The company offers opportunities for growth and the chance to work on various projects as part of a 10-year capital plan.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Downingtown, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $65.00/hr.
