We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The role involves maintaining, adjusting, and repairing various machines using diagnostic equipment, conducting inspections, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently. The successful candidate will also be involved in staff development activities and contribute to our preventive maintenance program.

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine machine maintenance and adjustments using diagnostic equipment.

+ Conduct inspections and tests on equipment as part of the preventative maintenance program.

+ Maintain documentation of maintenance activities.

+ Respond to requests for support from maintenance staff and management.

+ Participate in staff development and training activities.

+ Install and test equipment and machinery.

+ Inform relevant employees about maintenance status.

+ Operate a variety of hand and power tools.

+ Build, repair, and modify hand assembly machines.

+ Perform welding operations as necessary.

+ Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventive maintenance tasks and reports.

+ Troubleshoot PLCs and other equipment issues.

+ Attend machine improvement meetings and be open to changes.

+ Read and understand complex blueprints, schematics, plans, and service manuals.

+ Ensure adherence to company safety guidelines, including Lock out/Tag out procedures.

+ Be responsible for personal protective equipment (PPE).

+ Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.

+ Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in engineering and troubleshooting.

+ Mechanical skills for performing routine repairs and preventive maintenance.

+ Ability to troubleshoot machines to keep production running.

+ Capability to implement proactive repairs based on observations.

+ Address safety issues and communicate improvements.

+ Calibration skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanically inclined with the ability to be a 'jack of all trades'.

+ Ability to conduct preventive maintenance.

+ Responsible for operating and breaking down machines.

+ Comfortable with cross-training in different departments and areas.

+ Ability to manage and be comfortable with machine volume and cycle times.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $66000.00/yr.
