    Job Description

    Join our team as a motivated Machine Builder in the expanding field of electronics test equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for building small laboratory benchtop test equipment, where you will be guided by an experienced engineer to develop your skills in automated and mechanical equipment assembly. This role offers potential for career advancement into leadership positions.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble benchtop test equipment and sub-assemblies.

    + Perform basic point-to-point wiring according to drawings for 24v and 120v circuits.

    + Utilize hand power tools such as drills and basic hand tools for light assembly and wiring.

    + Read and interpret blueprints for equipment assembly.

    + Conduct quality testing and documentation of new equipment.

    + Use basic quality control measuring devices.

    + Operate production machines efficiently.

    + Enter simple job data into a computer.

    + Adhere to safety rules and guidelines.

    Essential Skills

    + Basic hand tools experience

    + Small machine assembly experience

    + Blueprint reading capability

    + Mechanical aptitude

    + Ability to work independently

    + Organized and detail-oriented

    + Motivated and eager to learn

    + Good attendance record

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Evansville, IN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
