Job Title: Safety Manager
Pay: $28–$32/hour (Contract-to-Hire, OT x1.5)

Position Summary
The Safety Manager will lead safety initiatives, provide hands-on training for heavy equipment operation, and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards. This role requires proactive engagement with field teams and general contractors to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with foremen and superintendents to resolve field challenges.
+ Maintain safety standards and represent the company professionally with general contractors.
+ Conduct rotating jobsite visits for consistent safety oversight.
+ Support supervisors in completing Jobsite Safety Surveys and ensure timely documentation.
+ Assist foremen with JHAs, lift/mobilization plans, rigging setups, and site-specific safety controls.
+ Provide real-time coaching when hazards are identified.
+ Ensure daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and equipment inspections are completed and documented.
+ Lead new-hire safety onboarding and integration.
+ Deliver task- and equipment-specific safety training (rigging, fall protection, excavation, crane support, spotter training, etc.).
+ Help develop a structured training handbook for new hires and supervisors.
Qualifications
+ OSHA 30 Certification (required).
+ 3+ years of heavy equipment operation experience.
+ Ability to lift heavy materials for extended periods (10+ hour days).
+ Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.
+ Reliable transportation and clean MVR.
+ Strong communication skills and knowledge of tools/materials.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
