Job Title: Quality Operator

Job Description

The Final Process Operator is responsible for conducting final inspections, labeling, packaging, and documentation of parts prior to shipment. This role ensures that finished goods meet customer quality standards and internal specifications. Final Process Operators serve a vital quality function and work closely with both production and quality teams to uphold performance and delivery goals.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct final inspections of parts to ensure quality standards are met.

+ Label and package parts accurately and efficiently.

+ Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.

+ Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet performance goals.

+ Ensure finished goods are ready for shipment according to specifications.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, mechanical assembly, and quality checks.

+ Proficiency in using power tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers.

+ Ability to read and interpret part labels, instructions, and inspection criteria.

+ Basic computer or tablet skills for documentation purposes.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ Prior experience in a manufacturing or inspection role is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Blacksburg, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.10 - $21.10/hr.
