Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team at the Distribution Center. The role involves handling defective parts and customer returns. The candidate will identify defects, write reports, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with the Quality Manager to resolve quality issues. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. The technician will also initiate non-conforming dispositions.

Responsibilities

+ Identify defects in products and customer returns.

+ Write detailed reports on quality issues.

+ Conduct root cause analysis to identify solutions.

+ Collaborate with the Quality Manager to address quality concerns.

+ Initiate non-conforming dispositions.

+ Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of experience in a Quality Technician role.

+ Proficiency in quality assurance within a medical device environment.

+ Experience with FDA regulations, root cause analysis, and complaint handling.

+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with CAPA and regulatory standards.

Work Environment

The position is for the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm, with flexibility and a possibility of transitioning to a direct hire after 6 months. The role is based in the Distribution Center, offering a professional and engaging workplace.

This is a Contract position based out of Caledonia, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
