    First Shift Opportunity

     

    Pay: $19/hr

     

    

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic Commercial Finishing Department as a Pull Truck Operator. This role is integral to our operations, involving the handling and processing of wallpaper rolls to support our commercial finishing machines.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate a sit-down forklift with a pole attachment to pull rolls of wallpaper.

    + Supply materials to five machines in the Commercial Finishing Department.

    + Operate unwinding and rewinding machines to transform larger rolls into smaller ones for commercial customers.

    + Load rolls, set measurements, and start the cutting process.

    + Wrap finished products and prepare pallets for shipping.

    + Track work progress via paper-based systems and maintain organization.

    + Inspect wallpaper for quality, ensuring there are no rips or defects.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with sit-down forklifts, especially with a pole attachment (3 years required).

    + Proficiency in basic math.

    + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.

    + Mechanically inclined with experience in machine operation and material handling.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in the Commercial Finishing Department, which is not climate-controlled but has good lighting and fans for heat relief. The dress code requires steel-toed boots and a professional warehouse appearance. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm, with some early starts at 4:30am and occasional Saturday shifts. Enjoy two 10-minute breaks and one 20-minute paid lunch break, with a 50-hour workweek typical.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
