Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. The ideal candidate should possess a strong electrical to mechanical skill ratio, approximately 70/30.
Responsibilities
+ Perform maintenance tasks on gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
+ Work on large blanking presses and fabricate and rig as necessary.
+ Utilize electrical troubleshooting skills, with a focus on effective problem-solving.
+ Engage in PLC troubleshooting, specifically with Allen Bradley - PLC 5's, if needed.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in mechanical systems, specifically hydraulics and pneumatics.
+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.
+ Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting is advantageous.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Press experience is highly desirable.
+ Experience as a millwright is beneficial.
+ Ability to adapt to various technical tasks and work effectively in a team.

Work Environment
The role is based in a flat roll steel processing plant, contributing to the production of blanking sheets for automotive components. Initially, training will occur on the first shift from 6am to 2:30pm for 3-4 weeks. Once fully staffed, shifts will transition to a Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday schedule, with alternating day and night shifts from 3:45pm to 4:15am, ensuring a consistent 48-hour workweek.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $68640.00/yr.
