Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting, specifically with Omron and other leading brands. Your role will focus on troubleshooting rather than programming, utilizing Click PLCs known for their simplicity. You'll handle electrical issues involving 3-phase motors, switches, sensors, servo drives, and VFDs. Additionally, you'll manage mechanical troubleshooting of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, motors, belts, and roller conveyors. A monthly preventative maintenance shutdown will require your expertise to ensure the machinery is operational swiftly. Daily tasks include responding to calls and completing work orders, requiring effective communication with production staff and the engineering team.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot electrical systems, including 3-phase motors, switches, sensors, servo drives, and VFDs.

+ Address mechanical issues related to hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, motors, belts, and roller conveyors.

+ Conduct PLC troubleshooting, focusing on Omron and other brands.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical troubleshooting

+ Mechanical repair and troubleshooting

+ Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics

+ Self-motivation and strong communication skills

+ Capability in preventive maintenance

+ Minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
