Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the service, repair, and preventative maintenance of the bottling department. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and experience with mechanical equipment, including conveyors, bottlers, and labelers. The facility is advancing towards more automation, incorporating robotic systems into the production line. Candidates with experience in electrical and control systems, who are familiar with troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, and conveyor lines, are preferred. Experience in bottling and packaging, particularly in pneumatic systems, is ideal.
Responsibilities
+ Perform service, repair, and preventative maintenance on bottling department equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment such as conveyors, bottlers, and labelers.
+ Support the transition to increased automation, including maintaining robotic systems.
+ Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and conveyor lines effectively.
+ Utilize welding and fabrication skills to conduct spot welding as necessary.
+ Provide own tools for maintenance tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 5-6 years experience in industrial maintenance within a food and beverage production/manufacturing facility.
+ 5+ years of welding/fabrication experience.
+ Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with pneumatic systems.
+ Familiarity with bottling and packaging processes.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MANTECA, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
