Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scanning barcodes to accurately track inventory, using a pallet jack to move boxes, packing boxes with the appropriate amount of inventory based on load sheets, and loading/unloading truck shipments. You will be expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

+ Scan barcodes to track inventory accurately.

+ Utilize pallet jack to move boxes efficiently.

+ Pack boxes with the correct amount of inventory based on load sheets.

+ Load and unload truck shipments effectively.

+ Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in packing and material handling.

+ Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks.

+ Familiarity with RF scanners and order picking.

+ Experience in warehouse/distribution environments.

+ Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must be able to lift 45 lbs throughout the shift.

+ Ability to work independently.

+ Competence in counting and performing basic shop math.

Work Environment

Join a small company that started in 2018, currently employing 13 full-time, 5 part-time, and 3 temporary employees. We are planning to triple our business this year. Our facility maintains a comfortable temperature year-round, ensuring a pleasant work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Akron, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
