Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

The Quality Inspector will perform both incoming and final quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measurers. Documentation of inspections will be carried out through computer systems or written records. The role requires comfort with climbing ladders to work on the tops of radiators.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct incoming and final quality inspections with precision measuring instruments.

+ Document inspection results using a computer system or written records.

+ Climb ladders to inspect the tops of radiators.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure quality standards are met.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in reading micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

+ Experience in interpreting blueprints.

+ Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.

+ Capability to write non-conforming materials reports.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is a plus.

+ Familiarity with hand tools and understanding of PPAP processes.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift from 5am to 1:30pm in a manufacturing shop that includes welding, warehouse, assembly, and quality departments. The work environment can be hot and dusty, and may require lifting or moving up to 75 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
