    Job Title: General Laborer

    Job Description

    This Warehouse position plays a key role in the efficient day-to-day operations of our business by ensuring that our warehouse is maintained in support of our team of drivers.

    Responsibilities

    + Loading pneumatic tankers and bottom hopper trailers.

    + Performing preventative maintenance as needed.

    + Ensuring that all necessary documents are filled out and turned in on time.

    + Exhibiting strong attention to detail and ensuring that all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are followed at all times.

    + Staying productive at all times, including loading trailers, performing preventative maintenance, and cleaning.

    + Reporting to Manager/Supervisor on a daily basis for instructions.

    + Adhering to and reinforcing all company safety rules and procedures.

    + Performing other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + General labor experience.

    + Experience in construction, warehouse production, loading, and general labor.

    + Ability to operate a forklift and perform cleaning tasks.

    + Experience in concrete work, landscaping, and general production.

    + Experience in unloading tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1+ years of experience within an industrial work setting.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Ability to operate sit-down forklifts or be trained on them.

    + Flexibility to work any day of the week.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a shed-type warehouse environment where rail cars pull in. This role requires working both indoors and outdoors to perform all duties. The shift is from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, five days a week, with a rotating schedule. Our operations run 7 days a week, so each employee must be open to working on all days of the week as scheduled.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Joplin, MO.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
