    Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

    Job Description

    We are seeking a diligent Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Polk City, Florida. This role operates from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and involves working in a cold storage facility.

    Responsibilities

    + Schedule appointments and process referrals.

    + Respond to phone inquiries and perform data entry.

    + Maintain files related to accounts payable, purchase orders, equipment tracking, and confidential personnel records.

    + Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

    + Assist with budget preparation and maintain financial documentation.

    + Prepare reports, assemble documents, and organize materials for meetings and mailings.

    + Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

    + Must be at least 18 years old and fluent in English.

    + Attention to detail and ability to proofread accurately.

    + Familiarity with office equipment and standard administrative procedures.

    Work Environment

     

    This position is based in a cold storage facility with exposure to low or sub-zero temperatures, and occasional contact with dust, noise, and other environmental factors. The role involves working near moving equipment such as forklifts and order pickers.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Polk City, FL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
