    Job Title: Body Technician/Finisher – Paint Laborer

     

    Overview

     

    We are looking for a motivated Body Technician/Finisher to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you’ll be an essential part of the finishing process, preparing and painting vehicle bodies and components to the highest quality standards. Whether you’re experienced or eager to learn, this position offers the opportunity to grow your skills in sanding, grinding, priming, and industrial painting.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform high‑quality painting and finishing on vehicle bodies and parts.

    + Prepare surfaces through sanding, masking, grinding, and applying body filler for smooth finishes.

    + Prime surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion and durability.

    + Participate in blasting and sandblasting operations, with opportunities to apply powder coating.

    + Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols.

    Skills & Qualifications

    + Hands‑on experience in industrial painting or finishing preferred; training available for motivated candidates.

    + Knowledge of paint preparation techniques, sanding, masking, and grinding.

    + Ability to perform blasting and powder coating is a plus.

    + Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn new techniques.

    Work Environment

    + Temperature‑controlled facility designed for comfort and safety.

    + 1st shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM or 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (based on supervisor).

    + Expect 45–50 hours per week, with mandatory overtime on Fridays.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wyoming, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
