Job Title: Floor Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Floor Technician responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment. This role offers flexible shifts, including 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7:30am).

Responsibilities

+ Maintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, and spray cleaning.

+ Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surfaces.

+ Use proper procedures for carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.

+ Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.

+ Complete other duties as assigned related to environmental service and floor maintenance.

Essential Skills

+ Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.

+ Ability to follow safety procedures.

+ Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hardeeville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
