What You’ll Do
+ Operate and maintain a **vacuum atomization furnace** for metal powder production
+ Perform **quality checks** , cleaning, and monitoring throughout production runs
+ Prepare raw materials and control furnace operations
+ Make minor repairs to furnace and related equipment
+ Maintain a **safe, organized work area** and follow strict safety protocols
+ Use electric hoists to remove/replace furnace lids and coils
+ Clean and repair crucibles for next production cycle
+ Attach/detach gas, electric, and water lines as needed
+ Wear PPE (including respirators) and adhere to all safety guidelines
+ Support department goals and work overtime when required
What We’re Looking For
+ **Experience:** Previous production, machine operation, or general labor experience
+ **Physical Requirements:** Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
+ Comfortable working at heights up to 60 ft
+ Able to bend, squat, twist, climb stairs, and stand for long periods
+ **Skills:** Machine operation, basic repair, and quality control knowledge
+ **Other Requirements:** High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Must be a U.S. Person or eligible for export authorizations
+ Reliable transportation (location not near public transit)
+ Ability to wear a respirator
Work Environment
Hands-on, dynamic production setting with strict safety protocols. Expect physical activity and teamwork in a high-tech environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clayville, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
