Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at a leading manufacturer of stainless food processing equipment. This role involves setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, primarily focusing on lathes, in a non-production based environment that involves working with various parts in low volumes.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, with a focus on lathes.
+ Perform quality inspections using micrometers and calipers.
+ Conduct multiple set-ups and tooling changes.
+ Edit programs at the machine when necessary.
Essential Skills
+ 5 years of experience in setting up and running CNC mills and lathes.
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading.
+ Familiarity with lathe, mill, calipers, and micrometer inspections.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2 years of experience with G&M code editing at the machine.

Work Environment
Work in a modern, clean, and climate-controlled facility with approximately 100 colleagues. The shop operates on two shifts: 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, 5 am to 3 pm, and 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 3 pm to 1 am. Optional overtime is available on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delavan, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $34.50/hr.
